This session will cover the journey between Kenzen and Kajima to perfect a product, POC, and process to protect Kajima construction workers in Japan from heat related injuries where the summers are exceptionally hot and humid.  This started with an early pilot in 2018 when Kajima Japan had just begun their innovation practice in Silicon Valley and the Kenzen product was just out of the R+D phase.  With an open dialogue between the two companies over the next 18 months on what changes and updates might be made to both the Kenzen system and the POC structure itself we jointly emerged with an extremely successful POC in the summer of 2020 despite the restrictions of COVID19.
