Sensoryx is a Swiss startup company founded in 2017. Essentially, Sensoryx is a software and algorithms company that uses its expertise to create and produce tracking systems. Specifically, we track motion and enable this to be digitized and accurately shown in Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) simulations. Our vision is to make movement and interaction in VR/AR as natural and intuitive as in the real world. To achieve our vision, we also design and produce our own hardware to ensure it is fit for purpose and enables optimal performance of our software and algorithms.

Our first product, VRfree® is a glove-based system that enables highly accurate and precise hand and finger tracking. Used in VR/AR, traditional hand-held controllers can be replaced with our gloves, allowing the user to interact naturally with their hands and fingers in the virtual world. This natural and intuitive use of the hands creates a vastly more realistic and immersive VR/AR experience, and opens a world of possibilities for training, entertainment and quality of life applications.

VRfree® is unique because it has its own integrated 3D tracking platform. Sensoryx’s submillimeter- accurate tracking is achieved through a patented fusion of different sensor types. Hand and finger movement data collected by the sensors is then processed by our proprietary software and algorithms to achieve unsurpassed visualization and performance in the virtual world.

Sensoryx’s tracking system makes VRfree® completely mobile and independent from other tracking systems and devices, giving users complete freedom to choose the most appropriate VR/AR headset to meet their requirements and budget. VRfree® is easily integrated with almost all commercially available VR/AR hardware. In addition, Sensoryx has developed integration tools for the leading VR/AR development platforms, allowing other developers and companies to integrate VRfree® quickly and easily into their projects.
