Ryan Scanlon is the lead architect for the Travelers emerging technologies research team. In his role he seeks out and vets tech on the development horizon to determine how it will impact the industry. He is leading the exploration of mixed reality at Travelers.

Prior to this role, Ryan's work in the Travelers Innovation Center earned multiple patents for his development of IoT and conversational AI solutions. In addition to mixed reality, he is passionate about computer vision and machine learning. In his free time he enjoys sharing his love of VR, retro gaming and robotics with his children.
