Kurt Maldovan is a Director of Practice Technology at Jacobs Buildings and Infrastructure, where he develops and implements technology based strategies to continuously add value and reduce waste within the practice.
As a recognized leader in the AEC industry with over 10 years of BIM and advanced visualization experience, he has been instrumental in the adoption of Virtual and Augmented Reality, interactive workspaces including CAVEs and visualization labs, and promoting collaboration through Big Room environments.
He has served as a panelist, moderator, and featured presenter at over 50 national and international conferences where he promotes the importance of forward thinking technology approaches and advanced BIM workflows. Kurt is also actively engaged with academic outreach and research including the advisory board for Penn State’s BIM project execution planning (PxP) and the BIM Planning Guide for Facility Owners.
