Over the past seven years, Kat King has researched and evaluated various cutting edge technologies to enable FedEx of the future. She has worked closely with FedEx Express Operations teams to identify challenges and develop field-ready solutions. In her current role, Kat has evaluated a range of industrial wearable solutions, from AR/VR applications to passive/active exoskeletons. As lead of the Human Augmentation Technology Focus Area team, she's responsible for coordinating the R&D efforts taking place across all FedEx operating companies, related to wearable technology.  

Apart from her work at FedEx, Kat is a Board Member of the YWCA Greater Memphis Area and an avid volunteer for OUTMemphis. Kat holds a B.S in Biomedical Engineering and an M.S. in Industrial Engineering from Mississippi State University.
