Alberto Oltra was appointed CEO of the Spanish Speaking South America's countries based in Santiago de Chile in April 2012. Since then he has been in charge of aligning the countries to deliver healthy financial results, implementing the Global initiatives and best practices ensuring excellent services and creating a culture of high performance teams. He is also responsible of the communications and leadership programs promoting compliance behavior and strategic mindset to achieve not only short term goals but also medium and long targets.

Before that, Alberto was appointed Country Manager of Chile in 2009 for DHL Global Forwarding.

In this position, he had the mission of supporting strategic decisions for the Company, reinforced the teamwork culture, promoted operational excellence through continuous improvement and generated new business opportunities.

Alberto began his career with DHL in the Finance field in 1999: Team Leader Account Payable – Scandinavian Countries, Spain & Portugal – in Dublin, Ireland and as Financial Controller in Miami and Santiago for Latin America and Mercosur respectively.

Before being appointed Country Manager he was the Chief Financial Officer position for DHL Global Forwarding in Chile.

He is a Business Administration graduate.
