Dr. Hasan is a Senior Program Manager at GE Global Research. He provides leadership and research support for the various projects with different GE businesses as well as with external government agencies. He received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech and MBA degree from University at Albany. He has more than ten years of experience in generating new ideas and leading multidisciplinary projects which involve sensors, IoTs, wireless communication, data collection/analysis, and edge/cloud infrastructure. Dr. Hasan is currently leading GE Research's Industrial and Military Wearable Program. Previously, he led the Wireless Patient Monitoring program, which created a huge market opportunity for GE in the area of Mobile Digital Health. Dr. Hasan is a regular reviewer of different journals and conference proceedings. He is a senior member of IEEE and currently chairing a technical committee under IEEE Communication Society. Hasan published over 65 research articles including 3 book chapters and 20 patents.
