Luke is a Senior Staff Engineer at Kohler Company. He leads the development and implementation of manufacturing systems within the Global Faucets organization, working within New Product Development teams. He is a devoted advocate to implementing continuous improvements within the manufacturing industry and as such his focus is with introducing both VR and AR technologies at Kohler. In 2018 Luke introduced VR at Kohler to improve concurrent Engineering disciplines with the production preparation process (3P), and Manufacturing simulations to create Lean systems. In 2019 Luke’s focus is to Pilot AR technologies on the shop floor and strive for operational excellence. His 19-year career has expanded from Tool Making to, Assembly, Lean Six Sigma, Manufacturing Systems Engineering, Product development leadership and product portfolio planning. Luke has lived in the USA for 8 years, is a UK expat and was educated in the UK. He holds a Master of Science degree (MSc) in Manufacturing systems Engineering. Dedicating a 1-year research project in Lean Product development with the University of Warwick UK / Warwick Manufacturing Group (WMG). He is a Member of the institution of Engineering and Technology (MIET) and is a member of the Institute of Management Services (MMS).
