Eric Johnston is the Connected Worker Architect at ExxonMobil responsible for exploring the emerging edge of industrial wearable technology including augmented reality, wearable compute, body sensors, smart fabrics, and advanced human interfaces. Eric joined ExxonMobil in 2007 after graduating from Baylor University with a degree in Bioinformatics. He has held multiple technology positions in ExxonMobil supporting various refineries, chemical plants, and offshore production facilities. Eric’s passion for new technology exploration combined with his desire to protect and enhance the industrial worker has grown into the Connected Worker technology program.
