After developing his first automation program on the plant floor, a passion around the intersection of digital technology and manufacturing was born. This passion led Alex to a career with experience in manufacturing, software engineering, and customer engagement. Alex is currently the Director of Innovation and Strategic Partnerships at Vuzix, a leading supplier of Smart-Glasses. In this role, he is responsible for investigating new technologies and ideas that will drive the industry forward as well as building and maintaining strategic partnerships and joint GTM strategies. Prior to Vuzix, Alex started his career at GE in the Edison Engineering leadership program. He spent 4 years in a variety of roles across different business units from operations and manufacturing in GE Aviation, to software engineering and solution architecture within GE Digital. This allowed him to develop a strong foundation in both operations and software development. Alex holds bachelors degrees in Commuter Science and Mechanical Engineering with a research focus on Operations Research from Clarkson University.
