Zac Penix is the Manager of Emerging Technologies at The AES Corporation, a Fortune 200 global energy company headquartered in Arlington, Virginia. He is an award-winning technologist with multiple utility patents granted. Prior to joining AES, he worked for ConocoPhillips, a Fortune 50 upstream Oil & Gas company. Before transitioning to Energy, he co-founded a technology company that won four international innovation awards at CES. He is an innovator by trade and specializes in the global adoption of Emerging Technologies. At AES Zac now leads the global drones & robotics initiative, ensuring their international workforce are able to conduct safe and efficient inspections of their power and utility assets in 17 countries.
