Marvin Johnson is Bechtel’s, Innovation & Implementation Manager for Augmented & Virtual Reality solutions. His background includes creating in-house AR applications and leading various initiatives in the field for the last 5 years and sees Virtual Project Delivery (VPD) data integration as the key enabler for adoption and innovation in this space. He has hands-on experience of deploying construction based augmented reality applications and defining the new workflows involved along with a sound knowledge base in the practical deployment of solutions and tracking technologies required for accuracy. Having designed Smart Glasses Wearable Explorer program in his current role he is now supporting Bechtel’s Global project teams investigate both achievable use cases as well as seeking out future vision opportunities.
